On Wednesday, August 21, 2024, the Korea Institute of Criminology and Justice (KICJ) held a retirement ceremony for its 16th President of the KICJ, Tae-hoon Ha, at Dasan Conference Hall of the Korean Federation of Teacher’s Association (KFTA), Seoul.
President Tae-hoon Ha took office on August 2, 2021; during his three-year term, he has worked to develop the institute based on his “Double ESG management” that includes establishing a new identity for the KICJ, which was his initial goal. Also President Ha was committed in securing excellent researchers and budgets in the field of legal policy.
At the retirement ceremony, President Ha emphasized that when he took office, he dedicated himself in opening the new era for the KICJ by welcoming the official name change of the institute. He also endeavored to secure excellent researchers and sufficient budgets to lay the foundation for research in the field of legal policy.
He expressed his deepest gratitude to all KICJ staffs for their commitment and efforts in leaping forward of the institute as the integrated think tank.
