On Wednesday, September 11, Woong Seok Jeong, President of the Korean Institute of Criminology and Justice (KICJ), visited the Corruption Investigation Office for High-Ranking Officials (CIO), led by Chief Prosecutor Dong-woon Oh, to discuss key issues and explore avenues for strengthening cooperation between the two organizations.

In attendance from the CIO were the Chief Prosecutor and Deputy Chief Prosecutor. Representing the KICJ were President Woong Seok Jeong, Vice President Jun Hwi Park, and Director Young-Joong Kim of the Planning and Administration Department.

During the meeting, both parties engaged in comprehensive discussions on critical topics, including the development of educational materials for CIO prosecutors, strategies to enhance the office’s operational efficiency, and the integration of CIO case management statistics into the criminal justice statistical system.
