The Korean Institute of Criminology and Justice (KICJ) is proud to announce its successful co-hosting of the 2024 International White Hat Conference, in partnership with Boston University Metropolitan College and the Korean National Police University. The event took place on June 26-28, 2024, at the LH Pangyo 2nd Techno Valley, under the theme "AI & Robotics Frontier: Mastering Cybercrime Defense in the Digital Age."
The conference featured a variety of sessions that addressed the current and potential impacts of AI and robotics on cybersecurity and criminal justice. Dr. Haesung Yoon, Senior Research Fellow at KICJ, presented during the session titled "Legal Perspectives and Strategies," shedding light on the integration of these technologies within legal and ethical boundaries.
One of the highlights of the conference was the special award ceremony and closing remarks by Dr. Tae-hoon Ha, President of KICJ.
President Ha praised the collaborative efforts and innovative insights shared throughout the event, emphasizing the vital role of advanced technologies in enhancing cyber defense capabilities.
