On November 19, 2021, the Korean Institute of Criminology and Justice (President Tae-Hoon Ha) hosted a joint academic seminar under the theme of ‘Major Tasks for Revision of the Juvenile Act’ with Korean Juvenile Policy Association. At this seminar, insightful presentations and in-depth discussions were delivered on the following topics: - Expansion of temporary measures and Standards for interim measures; - Continuation or Abolition of Juvenile offenders system and the target for protection; and - Measures to improve juvenile justice procedures in line with the adjustment of investigative power.
