On April 11th, KICJ hosted the '2022 Seminar on the Law & Policy of Arbitration and Mediation' on the topic of the legal and policy issues in alternative dispute resolution (ADR) for future improvements. Namgeun Yoon, partner attorney at CLASS LLC, was invited to speak. He has served as vice president of the Korean Association of Arbitrators, arbitrator and member of the arbitration rules review committee at the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board, and an adjunct professor at Korea University. Yoon spoke on ▲the importance of ADR ▲distinguishing different forms of ADR based on procedural subject, types, etc. and ▲problems of administrative ADR in Korea. The presentation was followed by an in-depth discussion with the audience about potential improvements in ADR.
