On April 29th, KICJ and Korean Association of Psychology and Law hosted the 'KAPL Special Spring Conference International Symposium 2022.' The event was held online. Focusing on the recent Constitutional Court ruling (Dec 23, 2021) that admission of statements made by child victims of sexual offenses in a video recording as evidence is unconstitutional, the symposium invited researchers in relevant fields and law professionals to discuss legal and institutional solutions on the topic of [Court Testimonies by Child Victims of Sexual Crimes: Scientific Research and Practical Implications]. Professors Gail Goodman and Deborah Goldfarm, and Judge Karen Adam spoke on research trends in legal psychology and justice process reforms in the United States. Researchers and law professionals participated in the discussions.
