On August 1st, KICJ and the Korean National Diplomacy Academy convened a joint policy seminar on legal and policy challenges for enhancing national cyber security capabilities, which is one of the main objectives of the new government. The seminar began with opening remarks from Woo-sun Choi, President of the Institute of Foreign Affairs and National Security at KNDA and Tae-Hoon Ha, President of KICJ. With Prof. Seung-hyeon Nam of the Center for International Law at KNDA presiding over the discussion, Dr. Hankyun Kim, KICJ Senior Research Fellow, Prof. Jun-gu Yu of the Center for International Law, Prof. Myeong-hyeon Jung of Korea University, and Dr. Kyu-dong Kim from the National Security Research Institute presented on the topic. The next session was presided by Prof. Nohyoung Park from Korea University School of Law. Ki-seon Yun, prosecutor from the International Criminal Affairs Division at Ministry of Justice, Soo-eun Kim, head of the International Security Division at Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and Dong-geun Ahn, head of the Cybercrime Investigation Division at the Supreme Prosecutor's Office participated in the discussions and Q&A session.
