The 2021 Spring Coordination Meeting of the United Nations Crime Prevention and Criminal Justice Programme Network (UNPNI) was held online on June 2, 2021. The UNPNI consists of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime (UNODC) and 18 members, including interregional and regional institutes as well as specialized centres around the world. The network has been developed to assist the international community in strengthening cooperation in the crucial area of crime prevention and criminal justice. KIC has actively participated in the UNPNI activities since its joining in 2004 and held 2017 UNPNI Autumn Coordination Meeting in conjunction with KIC International Forum.(KICIF). At the 2021 UNPNI Spring Coordination Meeting, Dr. Jeongsook Yoon (Senior Research Fellow) delivered an institutional update and gave a briefing on the main activities of KIC in the first half of 2021, including the co-hosting of Workshop 4 in the 14th UN Crime Congress and the change in the Korean name of the institute.
