On June 15th, 2021, the Korean Institute of Criminology and Justice (President In-Sup Han) and Jeju Special Self-Governing Province (Governor Hee-Ryong Won) signed an exchange and cooperation agreement. With this agreement, the two parties are planning to cooperate in many different spheres including the following: - Research cooperation in the field of Special Judicial Police Model for a comparative study between national unified municipal police model and Jeju-type dual municipal police model - Collaborative research on the measures to improve the Special Judicial Police System - Exchange of information on the current trends of Special Judicial Police and criminal investigation statistics
