KICJ signs MOU with Korean Association of Civil Law

On Monday, October 18th, 2021, the Korean Institute of Criminology and Justice (President Tae-Hoon Ha) signed the Memorandum of Understanding on Cooperation and Collaboration with the Korean Association of Civil Law (Chairman Cheonsoo Kim) for the ‘establishment of a system of mutual exchange and cooperation on research, academia and education in the field of civil law’. The MOU with the Korean Association of Civil Law signifies KICJ’s commitment to make a new leap forward to become an integrated think tank for legal policy research. With its name change on May 18th, 2021, the KICJ plans to expand interdisciplinary collaboration in all areas of legal policy, including civil, commercial, and national litigation. Through this MOU, both institutes laid a framework for expanding cooperation and improve the research capabilities. The MOU is expected to bring about joint research projects in the field of civil law, co-hosting of academic events, and exchange of research personnel and information.
