KICJ held its annual agenda briefing online from March 2nd to 4th on the aims, contents, and overall direction of this year's research projects. Selected researchers from each project, and internal and external reviewers attended the sessions. Contents and logistics of a total of 29 projects were discussed. This year, KICJ plans to conduct research focusing on ▲evaluating criminal justice policies and legal systems ▲protecting the rights of mentally disordered criminal suspects in criminal justice procedures ▲comprehensive revisions in commercial law system, following new developments in e-commerce ▲examining residential and commercial leases, and protecting residential rights and business rights ▲revising the civil law system to reflect increasing diversity and changes in family structure, with a focus on single-person households.
