On October 28th, KICJ organized a joint academic seminar in association with Yeongnam Association of Criminal Case Studies and Busan District Public Prosecutor's Office.

With Prof. Taeyoung Ha from Dong-a University as moderator, the seminar began with fellow faculty Prof. Hwang Heo speaking on 'the distinction between homicide upon request and abetment of suicide.' KICJ Research Fellow Dr. Sang Kyun Bae participated in the discussions. Next, KICJ Research Fellow Dr. Minyoung Choi delivered a talk on 'the advancements of neuroscience and Article 10 of the Criminal Code on criminal responsibility,' with Prof. Jongsoo Sun from Dong-a University commenting as the discussant.
