The Korean Institute of Criminology (President In-Sup Han) invited Hee-Taek Shin, Chairman of the Seoul International Arbitration Center of the Korean Commercial Arbitration Service to the '1st Wednesday seminar’ under the theme of 'The current status of international investment and commercial disputes and the direction of legal policy' on Tuesday, April 6 in a hybrid format. At the meeting, Chairman Shin made presentations on an overview of solutions to the international dispute resolutions; international dispute resolution through international arbitration; the importance of the concept of arbitration; and policy goals regarding international commercial arbitration. Participants were encouraged to exchange opinions on the current status of intranational investment and commercial disputes as well as the direction of legal policy.
