KIC, MOU with UNODC for 『Towards AsiaJust』 Date: 27 July, 2009 Venue: The United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Regional Centre for East Asia and the Pacific, Bangkok, Thailand On 27 July, Prof. Dr. Sang-ki Park, President of KIC has signed the MOU with Mr. Gary Lewis, Representative of the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Regional Centre for East Asia and the Pacific (hereinafter referred to as “UNODC”) to cooperate the development of the project 『Towards AsiaJust』.This project aims to implement the ‘Rule of Law’ to developing countries in Asian and the Pacific regions. By singing this MOU, KIC will be engaged in this project such as conducting research on crime trends and criminal justice systems in Asia and the Pacific regions, attending a workshop or a conference for the crime and drug prevention and providing financial assistance.
