Mr. Sahroni, the Prosecutor of Cilegon District Public Prosecutor's Office in Indonesia, has been dispatched to KIC for 3 weeks, as a part of the Prosecutor Exchange Program (PEP) of 『Towards Asiajust』 program. It is second time for prosecutors to be dispatched to KIC under the name of PEP, followed by last year. While his staying at KIC, he is expected to conduct a comparative study on criminal justice system between Korea and Indonesia. KIC has funded to UNODC for the 5- year project of 『Towards Asiajust』 program, which was launched in 2009 to enhance regional cooperation among prosecutors in East Asia and the Pacific region and develop a network. High Level Prosecutor’s Meeting with the ASEAN Member States, held in Seoul, 2010 harmonized to launch the Prosecutor Exchange Program (PEP) as part of the 『Towards Asiajust』 program to encourage active and practical cooperation among East Asian and the Pacific countries. Mr. Sahroni earned a bachelor’s degree Indonesia University in Law and had a working experience as a Chief of Investigation Department on Special Crime at Cilegon District Public Prosecutor's Office.
