On September 23rd, KICJ convened a joint seminar with the Architectural Institute of Korea on the topic of improving the Act on Contracts to Which the State is a Party in Specific Procurement.

The seminar commenced with opening remarks from Tae-hoon Ha, president of KICJ, Gyuyong Kim, vice president of the Architectural Institue of Korea, and Byungsoo Kim, president of the Korea Association of Procurement and Supply Management. With KICJ Senior Research Fellow Cheonhyun Lee as the moderator, Youngjin Son from the Architectural Institute of Korea spoke on the 'loss of regulating power and impediments in administering procurement contracts.' Sool Namkoong, Gyeongsang National University professor, spoke on 'guidelines for improving the Act.'

Sangkeun Oh, professor at the Seoul National University of Science and Technology, Jinsu Lee, professor at the Seoul National University Graduate School of Public Administration, and KICJ Research Fellows Seongho Kim and Daekeun Kim participated in the discussions.
