On June 29th, KICJ convened the fifth Expert Group Meeting (EGM) of the year.

Held in a hybrid format, the meeting focused on the topic of “Image-Based Sexual Abuse Online – Phenomenon, Categorisation, Prevention, and Enforcement,” with presentations on the following: ▲The role and liability of online media platforms for image-based sexual abuse (Prof. Julia Hörnle, Queen Mary University of London) ▲The current criminal law approach to image-based sexual abuse and its challenges (Zoe Asser, PhD candidate, Queen Mary University of London) ▲Influences of online pornography viewing on adolescents (Prof. Elena Martellozzo, Middlesex University) ▲Characteristics of Korean digital sex offenders in incarceration (Dr. Jungsuk Yoon, Senior Research Fellow and Director of the Crime Analysis & Survey Division, KICJ) ▲Cyber dating violence among Korean college students (Prof. Riccardo Ferrareso, Dongguk University).
