On June 10, a group of experts from the Ministry of Justice Thailand and Suan Dusit Rajabhat University paid a visit to the Korean Institute of Criminology (KIC) to learn about the Korean criminal justice system and conflict management in the Korean society. The delegation headed by Pol.Lt.Col Dr. Phongthon Thanyasiri, Secretary-General of the National Harmony Board of the Ministry of Justice, was given a brief introduction of the KIC’s history and areas of work, followed by a special lecture on the Korean criminal justice system and mediation in criminal matters. The group also took a short tour of the KIC facilities.
